Nature's Beauty in the Pacific Northwest
Olympia, Washington is home of the Puget Sound, many canals, and many islands. South of Olympia is Tumwater Falls. Southeast of Olympia is Lacey, a sprawling suburb home to many families. To the northwest is the Olympia National Park. To the west is the Pacific Ocean. In the far north are the San Juan Islands and in the far northeast is Seattle.
Thriving Metropolitan Area
Olympia is home of the state government of Washington and its many departments. It's also home to a nearby Air Force / Army base Joint Base Lewis-McChord. There are numerous suburbs and we're proud that our city is a combination of major city and sprawling suburbs.
